"If your library has two books, this should be one of them."

As an entrepreneur, trained accountant and management consultant I've bought well over 200 books on business and personal development (not including text books) over the years and if I was forced to keep only two, this would be one. The other one would be Napoleon Hill's “Think & Grow Rich”. Seriously, that is how influential I believe this book to be. The problem with mainstream education is that it teaches the technical skills of success e.g. Law, accounting, engineer etc. But it ignores critically important factors that are probably more important for ‘real life success’ such as a positive mindset, getting on with and seeing the best in others, seeing mistakes as opportunities to improve, wealth principles etc. If you're struggling at work, it may have to do with your ‘getting on with people’ skills not your technical ones. If your struggling in business you may have the same problem. Your ‘getting on with people’ skills are getting in the way. If that is the case get this book, write on it and ingest its lessons wholeheartedly. I strongly recommend this book. If I had my way it would be (along with ‘Think & Grow Rich’) compulsory reading in high school. It's far more valuable from a practical, life-skills perspective than Shakespeare or Jane Frame in my opinion.
