Like other country legends of his ilk, Cash was an extremely prolific recording artist throughout his lifetime, and this 45– song set covers most of his major commercial hits and best-known work spanning from his Sun Records years in the mid-'50s through his 1983 cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Highway Patrolman.“
Cash's catalogue has been well-documented over the years and there are certainly other sets that go deeper, but this is a nice budget-friendly way to own good-sounding recordings of his major songs.
