In the way that P-Money & Scribe led the way for NZ hip hop or Fat Freddy’s Drop & Trinity Roots for NZ roots, so Chong-Nee is doing with NZ R 'n’ B.   Over the years Chong-Nee has picked up production credits for some of NZ’s most successful singles artists such as Che Fu, Dei Hamo [ with whom he co-wrote NZ’s biggest selling single of ’04 ‘We Gon’ Ride’ ], Dave Dobbyn, AKA Brown, Deceptikonz & Ben Lummis, to name only a few.
