It seems they have gone the way of other companies and rushed their game to the shelf, never before have I seen a Lego game (and I have them all) with so many game breaking bugs, played the first level, game crashed as it started the second level as the internet told me it would, had hoped since I had the patch they would have fixed it, but no it seems they are not in a rush, so turned it off and started on Lego Jurassic Park instead, no problems at all (so far, have completed all story lines anyway, now onto free play) might try it again when they decide to fix it properly.

After playing Lego games for many many years, I was looking forward to another great game by Tt. Sadly they let us down with this game. While game play and story have been just as good as the rest, it looks like money and deadlines won over giving a finalized product to the customer.

As I finished the story mode following the second movie, I turned off the game for the night, ready to pick up the story again in the morning and head into the final movie. I walked all over the freeplay map for over an hour looking for the next stage only to search online and find out they never added it as they put out the game before the movie was out and decided that it was not worth making it available as DLC. I, along with 1000's of other disappointed fans we sadly let down to not being able to battle Smaug over Laketown and be involved in the battle of the five armies.

If you want to add to your Legos game collection, it can be a great addition, just don't be expecting closure.

One ten year old grandson is very, very happy !
