Description

With more than 1,000,000 answers, this resource has more than twice as many as any other crossword dictionary. More importantly, this is the first crossword dictionary ever to comprehensively cover the clues and answers that actually appear in America’s most popular crosswords, including contemporary slang, phrases and brand names—nonexistent in the competition. From Jim Carrey to Sister Carrie, from Homer’s Iliad to Homer Simpson, there has never been a crossword dictionary with the breadth, depth, and currency of this one. In addition to 500,000 synonyms, One Million includes clues on: 3,000+ literary works (more than ten times any of the competition); 5,000+ films (more than ten times any of the competition); and 20,000+ famous people from all fields (more than ten times any of the competition) Plus One Million has more than 100,000 of the “fill in the blank” clues so popular in today’s crosswords. Shockingly, no other crossword dictionary has even one of these clues. No exaggeration: This book makes every other crossword dictionary obsolete.
