Strangers are a 5-piece group from Wellington, NZ, featuring current and ex members of The Deadline, Damaged, Scab, Dial, Neon Bastard and GSH.

Late 2007 they released their debut album Weight, which gathered much critical praise – Weight was voted “Best NZ release of 2007” by the readers of NZ website punkas.com” – and saw Strangers continuing a relentless schedule of touring – appearing at numerous festivals around the country including Punkfest and Hamtown Smackdown. They have opened for internationals such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Blacklisted, Ampere and Born/Dead as well as completing a full Australian tour in April 2008.

The track ‘Overborn’ (from Weight) was featured on the cover disc for US Magazine Terrorizer, which is circulated in large quantities throughout the world.

Every copy of the Night Minutes 7” includes a 3” CDR of the tracks in digital form, with a limited number pressed.

Night Minutes provides the listener with 13 minutes of pounding punk-influences rock! While there are nods to the metallic crunch of Entombed or Neurosis, one can hear a sly 80s’ hardcore influence creeping in alongside the musical cynicism of bands like Big Black, Swans and The Jesus Lizard.
