"Disappointing"
We have a lot of Guitar Hero, Rockband etc for Playstation and so when this came up at a fantastic price, thought I would purchase for my 9 year old son who has a 3ds.
After carefully reading the description, ordered this product along with a number of others and my son waited excitedly. Imagine his disappointment when he received it only to find it is not at all compatible with 3ds (all other ds games we have experienced are compatible).
A quick Google search and every bit of information says not compatible with dsi or 3ds but the Mighty Ape team only mentioned the dsi in the ad (I would not have expected to have to cross check their information).
One very disappointed child and a useless game later I am hoping that this is not the new standard as I have purchased a fair bit through the site and had planned on buying a bit more, I am left wondering if I should waste my money.

Ever since I brought this game I havent seen much of my son! He loves the game and says its just as fun as the full guitar hero games and it has great songs

Ok so I brought this game a while ago, and it hasn't let me down.
It has about 30 tracks, even though this isn't as big as the games for Playstation it has really good ones e.g Helicopter by Block Party.
This version is lacking the 5th button mucking it somewhat easier but still has all the different difficulties.
The only thing it disappoints on is the lack of wi-fi play, this game does have multiplayer (the battle mode , great fun) but can not be played over wi fi which would have been awesome.
I will warn after reaching the hour mark you will need to put it down for 5 mins due to the cramp factor from playing but its worth it.
An aspect that keeps you playing and improving is the unlockable songs, guitars, finishes and characters making this game have endless hours of gameplay. Its also good for practise for the bigger console versions of the game.
It's just like a mini Guitar Hero :D
