"Can't split the sound"
Cable gives great picture when compared to the cable that come standard to
the Wii.
Beware though that with this cable you can not split the sound and picture cable
so that one can run to the TV and the other to the AMP. I now have to either a)
find another Wii cable that spilts b) run a cable from tv to amp for sound
(don't want to do this) c) get another cable to run from amp to TV

For the best image you can get from the Wii get this cable, a must for any HD or HD ready widescreen TV.
Sound is not an issue like someone mentioned below, the Wii was not designed for separate sound output to an amp (get an extension RCA cable if you want that), just for fun Nintendo gaming through a TV that everyone can enjoy.
"Much better for fast moving images"
I bought this with Mario Kart, and I definitely can appreciate the difference from the standard RCA connector. Especially when I changed the output to the highest level my Sony 40inch LCD TV could handle. Fast moving images were crisp and clear. Good stuff.
