This game has to be the BEST wii game ever released. The graphics are stunning and the music is wonderful :)

Just as I thought that this would be a un-entertaining sequel to the now 2nd best Wii game ever, It completely blew me away.

And to answer some of your guys questions, Yes it definately is worth buying and you will love it forever and NEVER get sick of it.

This is amazing. Games just don't get any better than this. If you enjoyed Super Mario Galaxy 1, you will LOVE this game. I only just started it but I'm already hooked. If you call yourself a wii owner you simply can't walk past this game!!!

The best game on the wii, even on any video game console. It got 10/10 on ign, gamespot and edge. Stunning graphics, magical landscapes and great controls. A MUST BUY for the wii.

If it's one things Nintendo do well it's Mario games. They pull out all the stops and create beatifully crafted games that are fun for the whole family and the latest Mario Galaxy is no exception. From the masterful use of the Wii's graphical capabilities, to the musical score that keeps you humming along, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is going to be one of the games that you go back to play time and time again.
If you own a wii, you need to own this game.

This game is the best sequel to an amazing Mario game. At first I thought there was no way to continue the plot, but after playing the NTSC version, I have found that the writers just keep getting better. The game keeps the same controls and is much like the first game except the spaceship/planet you temporarily live on is modeled after Mario's face and you do not have to complete the whole of the story to unlock Luigi. This is a great game and I can't wait to buy the PAL version of it.

Becasue everyone has already mentioned why this game is the best game on Wii and perhaps one of the top games of all time, Ill firstly start off with the ‘downs’

It's not quite perfect 5, but 4 would be too low. The reason is that the controls can sometimes be a point of frustration. Example: Getting spring Mario to jump at maximum needs the A button pressed at the right time and it's hard to judge. 1/2 an hour later I managed to get through. Also, controlling yoshi while on chilly pepper took me ages to get used too, again stuck for over an hour on one level. Lastly, using the Wii-mote to fly Mario is also frustratingly annoying. That brings me onto the other aspect, it's not as easy as it looks. I'm no games novice. Sometimes I wished it was easier.

This game is trully fantastic in every way imaginable, It is. The game play gets your heart racing and holding your breath in. Its addictive and the challange (albeit difficult at times) is unique and very rewarding. Graphics, creativity, art, and the fully orchestrated music by the Mario Galaxy Orchestra are worth the game alone. The overall quality that has been but into creating this is unprecedented.

It's a steal at this price.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 was immediately addictive, all though its challenging, its easy to understand the story line and once you get the hang of all the moves and jumps you become really involved in the game. I found that it also helped teach you valuable moves for other wii games and helped new players become skillful on the wii remote. The graphics are also of high quality and each new planet in the game is different and interesting. Overall it is the best game i've ever played on the wii and suitable for any age and gender.

A great game for any type of gamer. Picks up right from the previous installment with more fun levels and some new additions to game play. Well worth it.

This is certainly the game the kids want to play. Two players, (one assisting the main player) helping to complete levels. Was renting from video shop, but now own thanks to Mighty Ape. Thankyou.

This absaloutly is a must have.
There is so much skill that is needed to complete the entire game.
Honestly and I thought 242 stars was going to be an easy job to collect.

This feels pretty much the same as the first Galaxy game with the most awated Yoshy addition, he plays brilliantly and we have arsenal of a few new moves too.
The addtion of giving the second player a actual character is awesome too, makes the game a bit easy but great fun for parent and child to enjoy the game together.

Achivements in gaming history when I heard that a sequel was coming I thought the orignal Super Mario Galaxy was just too hard to beat, but boy was I wrong, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not only superior but received numerous perfect scores from critics and if that isn't enough the average score is 97/100 according to Metacritc.
The game has stunning gameplay,phenomenal graphics and plenty of levels to keep you playing.

Always love Super Mario from when it was on N64 and this is no exception

This game is awesome. That pretty much sums up this game.
Why is it so awesome?
Well the graphics are some of the most polished I've ever seen on any Wii game, The soundtrack is fully orchestrated and sounds great (and is presented in Dolby Pro-Logic 2) but what really puts this game in the stratosphere is the game play.
A lot of thought has been put into every ounce of gaming here and no level is wasted. Divided into themed universes there's heaps of variety from a ghost themed world to a candy land world to an oversized world. The basic idea is to get from the start of a level to the end winning yourself a “star” in the process. To get there you will have to endure mind altering gravity fluxes and disappearing ghost worlds.
Along the way you will find power up suits such as a bee Mario suit, a ghost Mario suit and a cloud Mario suit and also Yoshi is there to help you out.
All in all the huge variety and thought put in to game play and the highly polished visuals and audio are what make this awesome. Highly recommended addition to your Wii library.

Fun, original, addictive. This is easily one of the best wii games and possibly one of the best games ever. The controls are perfect, graphics amazing. If you own a wii and want an unforgettable experience, buy super mario galaxy 2 today.

It really is that simple, if you own a Wii, or want an excuse to buy one – this is the game to get.
Amazing level design, quirky and interesting boss fights, great music and sound effects and gorgeous visuals (even for the Wii!) It is a true game – story and narrative go by the wayside to make way for the fantastic gameplay. So far I have collected 90 stars and defeated the final boss, but I am going back in for more to unlock the extra worlds and try my skill at all the extra stars.
Loved every minute of it.

The best Mario game and one of the best games full stop. If you are at all interested in platforming games and you own a Wii, you owe it to yourself to buy this. I simply cannot recommend it highly enough!

I can't remember what have done for the last 2 weeks, apart from squishing Goombas and dodging Whomps.

Best Mario game ever

if you are like me and couldnt get enough of the first super mario galaxy(SMG) then this is a MUST buy. there are more characters and once you collect a certain amount of stars you get to play as luigi on some stages,theres awesome suits like the drill and rock suit the cloud flower just to name a few. yoshi is so cute and easy to control. in ways this game reminds me of the super mario brothers DS game as you go along to different worlds and alot of characters from that game too are in this one. all round tho this game is so much fun, i love it and if you dont own the 1st “SMG” then get it, play it and then get this one..you'll be addicted in no time :-)

Awesome game, can't stop playing it

Just to entice any fans of the previous Super Mario Galaxy, this sequel has recieved a 10/10 from IGN. Looks like this is a must buy!

How amazing to have a sequel to a great game be even more enjoyable!! The graphics are excellent and has improved from the first. The levels and gameplay have enough puzzles and challenges to keep everyone addicted for a while. The inclusion of Rosalina, who can help you finish a level if stuck, means that younger ones can still have a go and complete a level, making it a much more more inclusive family game. Player two also has more abilities to help out, collecting coins and killing baddies, and it is great bonding and team work, helping each other out. Highly recommended!!

I loved the first SMG and loved every moment of this also but I would have liked to have seen just a little more work from the developers in certain areas. Loading screens, menus, menu music etc etc etc – All unchanged from the first SMG. You just feel a little ripped off when so much of the game has been carried from the first one and the price is still the same. The story line (what there is of it) is new but in many games SMG 2 felt like an expansion.

Nevertheless it truly is a great game. Clean GFX and most importantly great gameplay. If you enjoyed the first SMG then get this – it is more of the same but with Yoshi! That is one addition that makes any other qualms go away immediately. If you didnt play SMG (why oh why!!!) then grab this game (and its predecessor) immediately. If you own a wii you owe it to yourself.

Whilst it doesn't quite give the same awesome feeling as the original because it is a sequel, it still manages to impress. At first the controls feel a bit sluggish but that may have been because I haven't played the first in over a year or so.

Clever level ideas and humorous use of popular memes add a level of charm, I'm still undecided as to whether the levels and ideas are fresh enough though.

Difficulty feels like it has stepped up a smidgeon but it can also be a bit frustrating to hit something that would normally only take a hit point off to be flung into an abyss.

With numerous 10/10 ratings Super Mario Galaxy 2 is one of the highest rated games of all time. This is not just an incremental improvement from the first one, it is a great leap forward in platforming. Those people who were unimpressed with the difficulty of Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy 1 will be happy to know that challenge has been increased as well. With several new gameplay elements and Yoshi; I can not wait.

This game recently scored a perfect 10/10 from an Edge magazine review! It's not just a re-hash of the first game, it looks like it has completely new and awesome ideas. This is THE Wii game to get, end of story.

I really want this game and I seriously think about this game every day!! Lucky Americans are getting it on 23rd May but sadly we're getting it on 11 June. Obviously I'll be buying it through Mighty Ape because I'll be getting it first, and before EB Games through them.

If you haven't played the first game in the series, go play it now. It was revolutionary, amazing and possibly the best game to come out on Wii. If this game was simply more of the same it'd be worth playing, but it's shaping up to be much, much more!
