Agatha Christie: Evil Under The Sun
Famous detective Hercule Poirot is back in typical style, turning up at just the right time to begin an investigation into the murder of a famous actress during what should have been the start of a relaxing holiday.

Taking on the role of Hercule Poirot, players can scour a stunning tropical island for clues and delve deeper into the mysterious relationships between over 20 unique characters to search out the killer.

There are a number of added features and improvements that have been made to Evil Under the Sun based on player feedback, including a more streamlined inventory system, character dialogue choices that will impact events as the player progresses in the game, less repetitive detective footwork, and more diverse environments and locales to explore.

4 stars "Excellent, but I hope you have fast internet.."

First of all, the games are brilliant. The puzzles are intelligent, and the dialogue is good. The characters and stories are faithful to Dame Agatha Christies' novels, but with extra characters added or a twist to surprise those who have already read the books.

The music is very good, and not at all repetitive, which is a problem with many adventure games.

The reason this review is only four stars is that there is a problem with “Evil Under The Sun”. It is missing every single cutscene in the game, for some reason or other, 700 megabytes of content was not put on the disc to begin with, and the game is not completable without these bits of information – also you will not be able to watch the ending after all your hard work!

But never fear, there is a solution. There is a patch to fix this problem, and after running the patch there appear to be no glitches or bugs at all in the game!

The patch can be found here → http://www.sold-out.co.uk/support.asp?…

After you have downloaded it, move it to the JoWoods folder in your computer and run it. After that, just start up your game as normal!

Enjoy!

4 stars "Brain teasing but good"

Loved this style of game but did find it quite tricky in some parts trying to figure what to do next. Good if you like a bit of a brain teaser.

3 stars "Great Games - but one is unplayable due to missing scenes"

I have so far played Murder on the Orient Express, and some of Evil Under the Sun. Both are good games and I really enjoyed playing Murder on the Orient Express which installed and played flawlessly. Unfortunately, Evil Under the Sun is pretty much unplayable as all the cut scenes appear to be missing, which means that you have to continually check you journal to see if you have new tasks you know nothing about, and you are often missing hints that you need in order to solve them. Basically the only way to get through this game (if installed from this disc) is by following a walkthrough.
