Description

Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

5 stars "Worth a look based on the previous game"

The excellence that was Arkham Asylum is reason enough to pick up this game.

Asylum used Games for Windows Live also and was pretty sucessful. I don't understand why people are surprised/up set that this is continuing. I think GFWL works well and I've had no major problems with the platform.

5 stars "GWFL not so bad"

Don't be put off by Games for Windows Live. Just create an offline account instead of an online one and GFWL doesn't cause any problems.

I have played plenty of titles on GFWL and with an offline account, I have experienced zero problems.

4 stars "Amazing!"

I was sceptical at first after I played it on PS3 as I didn't like it. But I decided to bite the bullet and get it on PC, which I did not regret. Is definitely a great improvement over the last only down side is the character development is rather short since they try to cram to many villains in. All in all it is a great game with some amazing graphics (Definitely use PhysX with this).
