Dead Island

Absolutely loving this game, it's very melee focused which automatically makes it great, that combined with the HUGE environment to explore and the awesome story, makes it definitely worth buying!

This is just mindless zombie killing… And its beautiful!! Beautiful both in looks: the graphics are amazing (on an i5, 4GBRam, GTX570, onboard 5.1 audio), and the sheer enjoyment of ridding the island of thousands of mindless zombies any way you want. The RPG element with leveling up your favourite zombie destruction method (pipes, bats, knives. Sickles etc, etc, and later guns) and the weapon modification/up­grade system make it a real joy. Quests abound, which is OK as that just gets you more zombie kill'n. Really what struck me first was the ambient beauty of my surroundings both visual and audible. The Jungles were lush and full: trees, uprooted trees, mist, streams, contaminated pools, lurking zombies, towns felt real: burned out cars (some still working and could be driven), trash blowing, zombies lurking.
Well worth the buy for a few hours each night of strategic zombie mayhem, winding down after a hard days work. Probably a bit boring if your hard days work is as a real zombie killer, but otherwise well worth it!

over all it is not the best zombie game but as a zombie fan we all want GOOD zombie movies and games coming out like hotcakes and dead island is pretty much if u put L4D and Dead rising into a blender smashed it in the face of borderlands and that is not a bad thing cose it is the funnist zombie game to come out in years who dosnt want to curb stomp a undead ITS SO ENTERTANING i would have to say any fan of zombies or american history x must play this

This is an amazing game. I've watched several play-throughs of this and its just awesome. I mean AWESOME

Loads of fun straight from the install! A must have for any fan of zombie bashing fun!
