Description

Sporting over 90 vehicles across multiple classes in the real Baja 1000 - including trophy trucks, class I, motorcycles, ATVs and more - the game challenges players to not only be first across the finish line, but also keep their machine intact! Hyper-realistic dirt and damage modeling in the game means players need to be crazy enough to take chances, but not so reckless that their vehicle is destroyed before the race is over.

Features:
  • Wheel-to-Wheel Circuit Racing. Each race is a stage allowing the player to progress further down the baja peninsula
  • Damage & Wear - All vehicles are susceptible to wear and will lose parts and get dirty, scratched, etc.
  • Physics-Infused Surfaces - Race across dirt, sand, mud, asphalt, etc.. All of which react realistically to tires and affect handling

System Requirements:

Pentium 4 2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, graphic card 128 MB (GeForce FX 5700 or better), 1.5 GB HDD, Windows XP/Vista.

2 stars "Time filler"

This game only cost a tenner, so I thought I'd take a gamble and buy it. Well, $10 is all I'd pay I guess.
Kept me occupied for about 7hrs until I clocked it. It's ok, just very linear competition. A lot of vehicles, but you only really end up using about 5 or 6 of them on a regular basis, and there are only 12 different tracks, with reversed versions and repeats in different events; time trials, endurance, knockouts, etc.,
Sounds – bland; Controls are fine; Driving – annoying. Graphics – supports hi-res, but again, very bland.
Overall, you could give it a miss.
