"Madness returns indeed"
Alice, Madness returns is a great game, nice visuals. However it only has one save slot, and for some reason they decided to lock the save file so you can't even copy it off to swap that way.
"Epic adventure with a very dark side"
Big and beautiful game with variety in its environments and its combat. Can be a grind on the harder difficulties but interesting characters keep pushing you along
"Weird but good"
I always thought of this game as weird. But everybody who played it always recommended it. And now I understand why. Yes, the story is amazingly weird, but the game itself, the gameplay and everything is just great fun. Perfect to play with a friend and laugh about all this weird stuff and still have fun with a good gameplay and graphics etc.

Alice: Madness Returns absolutely does not fall into the category of bad sequel. Roughly a decade after the original, Alice again mentally revisits the past events of her family’s horrific death in a house fire. Rather than simply being a prettier revision of its predecessor, Madness Returns features an older, much more disturbed young woman with one hell of an imagination—and a more extensive wardrobe! Wonderland is again in peril as Alice is haunted by repressed memories of the fire and begins to question if her family’s death was truly accidental as she previously thought. To discover the truth and retain (or regain-) sanity, Alice must revisit her beloved Wonderland and collect her memories to discover the truth, visit her old “friends”, and destroy wicked enemies with an impressive new collection of weapons and abilities.

So far it seems a fairly interesting game, but also a bit old fashioned. Enjoyable never the less.
The added attraction is that it comes with a bonus game to download Alice McGee.
All in all, quite a macabre game.
