"If you want to see girls in action in RPG, then this is your gam"
The game itself is rather simple to play, it reminded me of final fantasy series but it’s a bit different,
This game is girls focused, as all the playing characters are girl..
As expected from this company, there always humor in the story line, which makes it enjoyable but I found it to be rather short, but good news to you if you liked this game MK- 2 will be out in Japan, so if you try this game and want some more, then wait just a bit and 2nd season will be out !!!!.

The goods :
- Cute anime chicks doing cute stuff with oversized weapons.
- Witty and weird (good weird) humor full of game-jokes and internet-meme references.
- Classic RPG gameplay with turn-based system and lots of awesome dungeon-crawling.
- Unique storyline that's quite refreshing.
- Quite possibly the best english-translation I have ever played. (jokes and personalities carry over very well)
- One of the best english voice acting in gaming industry (They are usually awful)
The bads:
- Slow and repetitive
- Target audience is very narrow; mainly directed to the anime-lovers.
- ATROCIOUS MUSIC @_@

This game is designed and marketed towards a niche audience, anyone outside this bubble will more than likely be offended in several ways by Hyperdimension Neptunia. If you're not one of those people, you know why you like this game and would have no reason otherwise to explain it.
As for my personal opinion, I bought this game after reading reviews and watching video clips on Youtube. It has not disappointed me thus' far and I am enjoying it!
