"YES YES YES, but there should be a limited edition or something"
A must for the Naruto Fan or the Fighting-type player. Assembling almost every main character from the beginning of the series towards the Ninja War Arc. Am Hoping for a special edition and future DLC for even more characters and arcs. Still it is a game that should be on everyone's list

"SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY"
I'm not only a big fan of the series (been following it for years) but also NUNS2 which I still play online religiously.
At first reveal this game seemed little more than a DLC addition being the only real visible changes are a new character roster.
However with the addition of the new cancel system and designated sub button (which are now limited and separate from blocking) it adds more depth to the battle. After playing the demo the gameplay is also a lot faster.
A new story mode has been introduced – no longer free roam, more of a “street fighter” type story for several key characters.
The character roster is over 70 now with some of my favorites such as Danzo, Aye, Kabuto in snake form, and the ‘Masked Man’. New support characters now including the Kage guards and Sound 4.

Finished the story in one sitting, great fun! A shame they got rid of the RPG element though, I thought that was great also the amount of characters is awesome real fun playing with others. Lots of extra features and unseen story development. Worth it regardless if you are a fan or not.
