5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

"A Fantasy Dream!"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

imagine all the depth and excitment of harry potter and throw in ancient greek mythology! this was a fantastic book , good fun for kids and a fastpaced thrill ride for adults not a second of this book was boring i could not put it down

"OMG....it's really addictive!"
5 stars"

I brought this book as I was curious to see what the hype was all about with what the kids are reading …I found myself totally addicted to this series and so far have read four out of the five books in a week. I am about to purchase the final book through Mighty Ape ( can't find it anywhere in Auckland stores! ) Can't wait to see the film this February.

Description

Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until, I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. That's when things started really going wrong. Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends, and generally trying to stay alive. This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I've stolen his lightning bolt - and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea. Can Percy find the lightning bolt before a fully-fledged war of the Gods erupts?
