5 stars "Current Generation Gaming in your hands"

As a fan of Sony's PS3 I was thrilled to see that a PSP 2 named the Next Generation Portable was announced for release in late 2011. Its still early days but the demos and trailers look promising with great games being announced such as a new Uncharted, Killzone, Resistance, Little Big Planet, Call of Duty and so much more. This will be one of the most powerful handheld devices on the market and offers so much in the way of features. A touch screen on the front and touch pad on the back for example can make for interesting and new experiences, just watch the Uncharted or Little Deviants demos. This is just one example of a great feature that will be on the NGP. And who can forget a second analog stick! This will make playing games such as shooters much easier and more enjoyable. A level of graphics equal to that of current generation consoles is also a great edition to handheld gaming devices. There is a lot of potential for the NGP, as long as the price is resonable.

5 stars "Modern Tech at its best."

Compared to PSP, the PS Vita is SOOO much more more powerful.
It has a 4 core Cortex-A9 CPU which for a handheld is brilliant and a 4 core SGX543MP4+ which is the same GPU as in the ipad 2 but with an added two cores.

Truly great specs, awesome price, CANT WAIT!

4 stars "Seems a bit pricey to me"

I'm still going to buy it but it is several hundred dollars more than it is actually worth.

5 stars "Two toggle sticks at last"

I'm REALLY looking forward to getting this sexy number. I had to pass on the Playstation phone as it looks like an Echochrome prop, but the Vita is my handheld to tide me over until the PS4 eventually comes out. Plus I'm looking forward to the Vita having TWO toggle sticks over the PSP's annoying one. Now if I could only find a way to txt my friends on the Vodafon network as I'm getting the 3G/Wi-Fi version. The preorder add-ons are a small bonus as well and so is being able to pay it off via Mightyape's bank account in installments everyweek leading up to the realease date. I'm looking forward to playing SuperStardust, Little Big Planet, Hustle Kings and I really want to check out those Little Deviants as well. Roll on feb 29…)))
