Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) stars as the suave and enigmatic bush ranger, Captain Starlight, in this epic action drama based on the classic novel by Rolf Boldrewood. Joined by bush larrikin Ben and his two adventure hungry sons, Starlight leads his gang of wild colonial boys in search of riches, romance and other mens cattle. After some daring escapades, including a nocturnal train hijack and a hot air balloon assisted jailbreak, the boys decide to change their lives and go straight after one last job. With the chief of police and his men on to them, the outlaws will have to make a run for it in one last wild race to freedom.
