Much as they later had to disguise their swords as canes, so they disguised their umbrellas as swords. In fact, there was one skilled umbrella maker who all the Samurai relied on for their Sword Handle Umbrellas. His name has been buried in the sands of time, but his plans have been preserved. "Awesome Fun"
I got this as my 25th Birthday present and I have to say it is awesome! It is very well constructed and looks great, it even has on the black ‘over cover’ that you put on it when it's not in use, a shoulder strap thing so you can wear it true Ninja style. I would recommend this to anyone since not only is it awesome, it is also actually practical, something sorely missing from the world today ;)

"When only the best will do..."
This Umbrella is quite simply the best thing I have ever brought in my
life.
Delusions of grandeur- Well if you don't have them already you soon will after
getting yourself one of these little gems!
Wear it across your back like a badass, or just generally at your side for a touch of awesomeness. Be warned, everyone will look at you and your ultra cool umbrella…and ask you about it. So be ready. Also, you'll be super warm and dry and it's yet to “turn-inside out” on me and the handle is honestly so cool!

What an umbrella! I just wanted this just because it looks awesome! but the quality is unbelievable! It's incredibly light for its size & it's construction well made. Even if you're just looking for a quality umbrella; look no further! Why not get this one in exchange of getting a few kicks out of it too! lol XD Like said in another review by Shuan “not only is it awesome, it is also actually practical, something sorely missing from the world today ;)”

"Cool like liquid nitrogen"
High quality materials (at least, it hasn't broken yet) and nifty design make for one neat umbrella.
The handle feels like solid plastic, and quite robust.
The sheath is, well, a nylon sheath or something; flexible, and concealable. Albeit with a carry strap, so you don't have to hold the umbrella in your hands all the time like some back-sheath-less chump.
The whole thing is spring loaded, so you can go from collapsed to open with just one button press. Pushing the button with just one thumb is a bit difficult, due to the hilt, but it's doable, and once you have it, it becomes easy.
The umbrella seems to be 98% comprised of not-metal, making it very light.
When the umbrella is in the sheath is when it most looks like a sword, and it has drawn a few glances (as opposed to carrying it without the sheath, when practically nobody notices the sword handle.)
Overall, one hell of an umbrella, and having purchased this, I am the envy of all my friends. Functional and a good conversation point.
