Before Conan,before Van Helsing there was Soloman Kane,Soloman Kane was written many years before the invention of the above moentioned and in fact was one of the worlds first avengers of good ever written. This movie adaptation is stunning but as with many that have come and gone it never received the praise it so surely deserves,and like many in the past due to a lack of advanced promotional work by the film companies Soloman Kane came and went in limited release,the distributors should have been ashamed of themselves as this picture is of such quality it could have easily gone on to become a hugely successful franchise. Actor James Purefoy is perfectly cast as Kane,the moment he puts on his huge black sweeping cape you just know evils days are numbered.On its initial limited release the net was abound with forums from thousands who had seen the picture asking the question of a sequel and Im sure you will agree as you watch the story of ones mans journey from evil to redemption that a sequel was well deserved. The Bluray is stunning with massive HD Master Audio that explodes around the room from every speaker,the films soundtrack is incredible with enough L.F.E to have you phoning the glazier to replace your now shattered windows If you love 'Lord Of The Rings" and lets be honest who doesnt then you will love Soloman Kane.
