An Xmas gift for my Trekkie dad, this is a great bathrobe. I love that it's Star Trek merchandise, without being too in-your-face obvious. The black lapels, black & gold insignia, and gold wrist trims are subtle, but look great. The blue fabric feels nice & soft, and is a standard thickness for bath robes. I do, however, think $90 is a little steep for this item. $60–70 seems much more reasonable.
On his five-year mission to seek out new life and new civilisations, and then cop off with them, it’s surprising we didn’t see more of Captain Kirk in his next-to-nothings. Shame as well, because if the Federation’s uniform policy stretched as far as the boudoir we’d have been in for a geeky treat. And possibly nightmares. Thank goodness then for Star Trek Bathrobes.
