From Kotobukiya, the incredible line of 1/10 scale ARTFX+ PVC Statues capturing the heroes, villains, and soldiers of the Star Wars films continues, this time with a leader for your Sandtrooper legions (sold separately in an army building two pack).
Straight out of Star Wars Episode IV comes the elite Stormtrooper variant chosen by fan poll at Star Wars Celebration IV, the Sandtrooper Sergeant!
Always on the lookout for Rebel droids or other anti-Imperial forces, the Sandtrooper Sergeant valiantly leads the troops under his command on missions in the harshest desert environments from Tatooine to Ryloth. The Sandtrooper Sergeant is a fearsome soldier as he stands at the ready, wielding his powerful RT-97C heavy blaster rifle. Like the men under his command the Sergeant wears specially modified Stormtrooper armor that is captured in a highly detailed sculpt with a great dirty and weathered paint job.
Everything is screen accurate even down to the intricacies of the trooper’s unique backpack. Like all other ARTFX+ Statues the Sandtrooper Sergeant has magnets in his feet for display on the included base.
ARTFX+ Statues are fun-to-assemble pre-painted snap-fit kits that can be easily put together in seconds without glue or modeling skill. The Sandtrooper Sergeant stands 7 inches (17.5cm) tall (1/10th scale) and is the perfect leader for the Sandtrooper 2 Pack (sold separately).
A Sandtrooper, or desert trooper, was an Imperial Stormtrooper equipped with a modified armor and equipment to withstand the harsh climates of desert planets like Tatooine. They were nearly identical to standard stormtroopers except they had additional training in specialized areas and advanced cooling systems in both their helmets and suits that offered them protection from the relentless heat. Visual differences in armor included a distinctive diamond-shaped left knee plate, non-ribbed chest and back plate connectors as well as reinforced abdominal plating.
