Sunprints use UV-powered chemical reactions to create stunning images. Start by pressing leaves and other interesting shapes between the treated paper and included acrylic, then expose to bright sunlight for 2–5 minutes, until the paper turns white or a very pale blue.
Remove the paper from the sun, and immerse it in water to trigger a second reaction, turning the exposed paper a beautiful Prussian blue. Once you've mastered the basic concepts, you can use transparencies to transfer photos, wrinkle your paper to study the effects of light and shadow, test various brands and SPF ratings of sunscreen, or capture and image of a magnetic field.
Completed prints can be used for any paper craft your imagination can come up with, including origami collages.
Super SunPrint kits contain 12× 8"x12"sheets, plus an acrylic sheet allowing you to explore possibilities that the small prints wont allow.
