I was fortunate enough to miss seeing this and paying cinema prices to see when it was on at the movies but my curiosity got the better of me as the story sounded interesting. So i got the dvd. Big mistake, this movie has promise, it is a dark tale and could have been rather good had it not been for the music.
They start singing all the time, its not just the odd song which could have been tolerable. These actors aren't singers so its sounds really bad. A short appearance by Sacha Baron Cohen and his hilarity isn't enough to save this movie.
