The book received is entitled “Almanac 2013”, not “Annual”, but this has been pointed out to MightyApe. And I guess I should have seen the “interest age 6 to 12” rather than the “gift idea teenage boys” which is somewhat different.Its a 61pg book where approx 30 of those pages are kids games, eg “spot the difference”, matching games, sudoku, maze and cut-out bookmarks. There's a dozen or so pages of character trivia, of course the title page, contents, answers page etc. Only 6 possible “stills” from the movie but many pretty promo-type pictures. I think it'd suit an 8yr old of either gender if they were Hobbit movie fans. Sadly it just wasn't what we expected as we'd seen the “Almanac” in bookstores but assumed “Annual” was a different book.
