Steve Vickers is an experienced travel writer and investigative journalist whose work has appeared in The Observer, The Independent, the Washington Post, and Rough Guides. His first travel guidebook was The Rough Guide to Laos. Edward Aves (@Ed_Aves) has had a soft spot for Laos ever since his first visit to the country in 1998. An in-house editor at Rough Guides' London HQ, he's periodically let out to get back on the road, and has contributed to numerous other guidebooks, including the Rough Guides to Sri Lanka and India.
