"Play Dishonored you'll see what I am talking about!
Great game to start off with, really enjoyed the first few missions so far,
blending in with darkness and light brings it back to what is was before but as
you progress through the storyline it changes a lot, Bloc key characters, out of
line sync, repetitive kill moves including the side step & hit it.
This is supposed to be a Major Reboot of the series Franchise, I think the
company took a huge leap of faith thinking that this is it this will redefine
the whole experience we will get out of the Next Gen + other consoles available
on the market today.
My bad points of the game in sequence:
The game feels so half-finished. Too many discrepancies with the voices in
cut-scenes. You have very little agency, very little choice about how to tackle
each section of the game. Even where you climb or shoot your various arrows is
predetermined. Challenge is wildly skewed from one moment to the next, with
guards at once far too sensitive to your presence and far too easy
to shake.
Now some good points:
The swooping move Garrett can perform to duck and glide from shadow to
shadow. That’s a very cool mechanic and I hope we see it used in other
stealth games in the future. If the rest of the game were this slick it would
have been a blast.
Unfortunately, this may be the last Thief game we see in a long time. Unless
it sells much better than I anticipate it will, the brand may be
damaged goods.
