Good movie to watch if you're into things from another planet, it has a good story line and great special effects, it's a good all round movie that people of all ages would enjoy.

Transformers, enough said, not perfect but enjoyable… in its third film it gets a bit dry, it is a Michael Bay film after all, it is nothing compared to the original G1 series, but what can you expect from people who will always complain about their limited budget and resources. The storylines get a bit blah blah but its Transformers. I always found it a bit tasteless that Optimus Prime was in the service of the … US military and the American President, argh dislike, and Optimus Prime in G1 never killed his enemies especially when they were done and beaten. Much has transpired to allow Bay and the voice of Optimus to go along with this Imperialist gung-ho stuff, but nonetheless, I appreciate the plus side to this: it's Transformers!

Description

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and his new girlfriend, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), join the fray when the evil Decepticons renew their longstanding war against the Autobots. Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) believes that resurrecting ancient Transformer Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy), once the leader of the Autobots, may lead to victory. That decision, however, has devastating consequences; the war appears to tip in favor of the Decepticons, leading to a climactic battle in Chicago.

Critic Reviews:

  • " It's big, it's brash, it's loud, it's dumb and it's mostly entertaining if that's what you're up for. " – Kate Rodger
  • " A completely unhinged whirlwind of epic action that is truly astounding. " – Matthew Lucas
  • " There's nothing too complex about the film (other than the parade of special effects and explosions), but it's mindless fun that works on its own level. " – Micheal Compton
