Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is First-person Shooter rooted in a fictional, but ultra realistic near-future conflict of mostly American forces with those of the Russian Federation around the globe. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a direct sequel to the previous game in the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In the game's single player campaign Russian Ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov continues his manipulation of Russian Federation forces in their invasion of the United States and Europe. In their way stands characters like Task Force 141 Captain John “Soap” MacTavish, former SAS Captain John Price as well as new playable characters from Delta Force and the British SAS. Engage enemy forces in New York, Paris, Berlin and other attack sites across the globe. The world stands on the brink, and Makarov is intent on bringing civilization to its knees. In this darkest hour, are you willing to do what is necessary.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 delivers a multiplayer experience that continues to raise the bar by focusing on fast-paced, gun-on-gun combat, along with innovative features that support and enhance a large variety of play-styles. "Disappointed"
MW3… What a load of bollocks, certianly not worth the $150 its going for in most stores and still not worht the $130 I got it for from pre-ordering it online.
Completed the single player in around 5 hours (altho a proper and legitimate ending to the story, not some rough shod piece of crap some companies do) but multiplayer is awful. Its jst MW2 with a few new maps and a slight difference in how you earn/unlock your Perks and weapon upgrades. Now, dont get me wrong, I wasnt expecting much in the way of difference, but to me it sucks.
Quick scoping it back, I ended up being a game where all but 2 or 3 players had sniper rifles and every1 was goign round 1 shotting people (and when you see it on kill cam, they havent even got a bead on you, you're just dead becos they looked at you)
Black Ops is by far the better game in my opinion, so I may well stick with that. What a waste of money >_>

"Modern Warfare 2.5-"
Alright so ill start off by saying that, im a huge FPS fan. Halo, COD, Battlefield, Crysis, Gears of War, Homefront, Counter Strike, are just the few I can name that I have put hours of gameplay into.
I brought MW2 on PC and I have put a surreal amount of hours into that game, 90% in multiplayer. I never played any other FPS as much and got as much enjoyment out of it.
MW3 looks like a upgraded version of MW2, which to me isnt much of a disappointment, and the revamped Killstreak system looks really interesting along with many of the extras.
The downside is that quickscoping will be making its return, and I hope to god that the One-Man-Army perk has been removed due to its unbalancing with Grenade launchers. Akimbo was a unreal approach to me and I still dislike it.
I will be one of the “idiots” buying this game, at the same time getting Halo Anniversary, and possibly Battlefield 3, and whether I enjoy it or not will be decided when I play it :)
If people are looking to find a different game to play, I would say MW3 isnt for you, but then again the most recent “different” FPS I remember coming out was Borderlands (Which was fantastic, with a crap story), most are series games so I guess nothing is really new :D

Modern warefare 3!! these games are all the same and yet everybody goes crazy over them terrible campaign and the multiplayer isnt much different $130 definately not worth it!

Great continuation of the story, nothing new from MW2, but doenst stop the enjoyment, and no zombies which is awesome.
