Description

Far Cry 3 Lost Expedition Edition includes:

  • 2 thrilling single player action missions
  • Approximately 40 minutes of additional gameplay
  • Multiplayer weapon, the Type 10 Japanese flare gun
  • Mission 1: Forgotten Experiment – Trapped inside a forgotten research facility, Jason discovers that the only way out is through the crumbling WWII ruins. But if Jason hopes to escape, he'll have to activate the old experiments and unleash the electric storm that could kill him.
  • Mission 2: Ignition In The Deep – Inside an abandoned WWII military silo, the only thing standing between Jason and freedom are pirates and a forgotten missile leaking a lake of fuel. One stray bullet and the entire complex goes up in flames, forcing Jason to rely on his wits and stealth to survive.

Far Cry 3 players step into the shoes of Jason Brody, a man alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island cut off from civilization. In this savage paradise where lawlessness and violence are the only sure thing, players will dictate when, where and how the events of the game unfold. Players will slash, sneak, detonate and shoot their way across the island in a world that has lost all sense of right and wrong.

Features:

  • The island of Far Cry 3 will drop the player into a rich and stunningly well-realized environment, full of intriguing characters to meet, locations to explore and explosive fights to jump into.
  • Alone on a tropical island, the player will have to confront the dark side of humanity. As Jason Brody, gamers will be impelled to act as he learns more about the horror and corruption that is taking place on the island.
  • Far Cry 3 exists within a world of conceivable reality, where the events could have been ripped straight from the headlines of the news.
  • The natural environment is a tool to be used for survival, improvising your attack or deception of the enemy. Gameplay will reflect the range of opportunities and variety only this type of environment could provide.

5 stars "INSANE!!"

Wow looks like another great Ubisoft game.Looks like will be facing that insane guy and his private army on a tropical island with classic weapons such as the Ak-47 and other weapons.Should better without that annoying malaria from Far Cry 2.This is much closer to the original Far Cry in terms of location and gameplay,Far Cry 2 had no ties to the original Far Cry except the name. And best of all it will be releasing in the same month as Mass Effect 3 so two really good games in the same month. All up i think Far Cry 3 will be a really good game to purchase and play.Enjoy!!

5 stars "A game to beat all-"

I think it could well be. Farcry has in the past had some of the largest open world maps and some of the best graphics that have been captured from actual scenery from around the globe. Not to mention the create and share features with the ability to create and share your own maps.
Could be something to look forward to.

5 stars "Something to keep your eye on"

Ive played all the far cry games and each has been an improvement on the previous one. This is set to be one of the best games announced so far for the 360 in 2012
