"Best Halo game - sadly the last one!"
Halo Reach is the last Halo game from series creator Bungie.
Well it may be their last, but it is one heck of a game.
Graphics: The graphics are very much improved over Halo 3's and features a lot of nice textures and art work.
The Elites alone have over 8 different skins. It's important to note that the art work overshadows Halo 3's.
Gameplay: Gameplay has evolved quite a bit from Halo CE to Halo Reach and while Reach came before Halo CE, the game play bears quite a bit of similarity to Halo 3 except for the addition of armour abilities. These change the game play quite a bit (for the better) adding a layer of strategy.
The pacing is excellent and firefights are great - very chaotic.
Firefight: Firefight 2.0 as Bungie has called it is very much more fun filled out with 7 different modes compared to Halo 3 odst's one mode - overall a very good addition.
Multiplayer: This is the game mode everyone will play at least once with excellent matchmaking and widely varied maps. Plus the new armour abilities add more to the overall experience.
Campaign: The campaign is the best in the series with a very satisfying ending and a vastly improved story that has multiple characters
(Jeorge noble 5,Kat noble 4,Emile nobel 3,Carter noble 1,Jun noble 2) and you as your own character - noble 6. The 5 other characters provide depth and emotional weight to the story.
Overall, Halo Reach can be played and enjoyed by Halo fans and new comers.
