You realize there is Tekken X Street Fighter comming after they finish
devolopment on their current projects-

You obviously don't realise theres 2 versions going to come out. Tekken x sf and sf x tekken. This is the sf version and the other one will look / play like tekken.
This has got be one amazing crossover and can't wait for it to come out!

As a fan of both franchises I have to say this was definitely a smart move. What we have here is the first of two cross franchise games. This one, developed by Capcom is more akin to the Street Fighter gameplay rather than Tekkens whereas Tekken X Street Fighter does the opposite. So in actuality those people who previously commented on this have no reason to disregard this title because in the end they get what they want. A true fan based game.
However if cross franchise gaming isn't your style but you do like a good Tekken game, make sure to check out ‘Tekken Hybrid’ for the PS3 and soon enough ‘Tekken Tag 2’

"True hybrid of Streetfighter and Tekken"
Not sure if the above comment is correct. Sure it's in the Streetfighter engine. But the gameplay has proven to be having a lot of concept from tekken such as the combo system and aggressive mix up game from the Tekken cast. Also, many of your tekken strings WILL work with the tekken characters. This game will be better than SFIV and marvel at least
