"Two words: "Holy Frak!""
5 stars"

Of the three series to date, this is the best. Picking up from the cliff-hanger of season one, the season takes an even darker path, with the paranoia of having the Cylons among them and people struggling from being on the run. New alliances are forged and the mid-season surprise may not be the miracle they thought it to be. The plotline in season two is gripping, rivalling any leading drama series on TV today, as politically complex as ‘West Wing’ as mystifying as ‘Lost’ and as brutal as ‘Sopranoes’. And the season two finale (touted by some as one of the best TV finales in recent years) will have you scrambling for the Season Three box set. Season two never lets you out of its grip – delivering a dark, gritty story with plenty of twists and turns. Do not make the mistake that this series is just another geeky sci-fi show. This is a character-based drama at its best – so much that Time Magazine rated Battlestar Galactica as “THE best show on televsion” in 2005.

Bought the second season based on my opinion of the first season and it has exceeded my expectations greatly. Fun story that's hard to stop watching, the writers have taken the story further in plot development than what most television series would normally take in one season which makes it hard to predict what is going to happen next. Very much looking forward to the third one!

First of all, I have only seen the 1st half of this season on a recent trip to Canada. But quite simply it has left me breathless with anticipation for the rest. The characters, stories, tension and visuals just get better and better!
