I had my doubts about the watch at first but in person it is the most beautiful fob watch I have ever seen and I am proud to own it. The Gallifreyan on the casing of the watch is exquisite and the detail on the face of the watch is beautiful. I carry it with me everywhere now and have received compliments from people on how amazing it is when I have been asked for the time (it happens believe it or not)
Everyone needs a fob watch and this is not just for Whovians :)
This is a neat addition to any doctor who collection – and it glows! ;) Well made, detailed and robust, though color is slightly different to the product photo (appears to be made from aluminium).
While this was a little on the expensive side, it turned out to be well worth it. It was a gift for a Dr Who fan and he loved the fob watch.
It lights up in the dark and is nice and sturdy and well made. It's something that can either be used (as a fob watch) or placed on a shelf with a collection. I was very happy with this purchase.
The colour doesn't match the one in the pic. It doesn't look like ‘old metal’ in the pic, more like light silver/white aluminium and the face isn't as easy to read/see as in the pic either. A bit disappointed really. The best thing about it is the light and how it lights up.
It isn't the gold/bronze in the photo, it is a pewter/brushed aluminium colour. It is quite pretty, especially when it lights up (although, you won't be able to read the time in the dark – it's more a cool effect) Mine arrived with the clock mechanism broken – the reviews on other sites seem to point to this being a common issue. Hopefully MightyApe's customer service will be their usual high standard.
I haven't opened it yet as it's a gift for my daughter, however it looks amazing and the detail is fantastic.

Strangely it is " Silver " and Not Gold so thus [ 4 / 5 Stars ] but LOVE IT
Great product, not only does it look great, it functions perfectly like a real pocket watch, with a light and everything. It has a good weight in your pocket, and not only is it a great prop for doctor who fans, anyone not familiar with the show would still love it because it isn't openly Dr Who.
