"Easy to learn, hours of gameplay. "
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I bought this game because of the solo play option. It is very easy to learn and I was playing my first game in no time. In appearance, it is very similar to the Dungeons & Dragons boardgame, Castle of Ravenloft. Indeed, the games are compatible, so all the components match perfectly. Once again, I was very impressed by the quality of the components, especially the thick, printed dungeon tiles on quality card. There are thirteen adventures, or “quests” to choose from, if playing with friends, but only one of these is classed as a solo adventure. (Although you can try playing the other adventures on your own, by controling 2 or more charcters yourself). The games comes with 42 plastic figures, 50 tiles and over 390 cards, markers and tokens, so you certainly feel you are getting value for money from this game. The huge number of tiles, monster, treasure and encounter cards, mean that no two games will ever play the same. Overall, a fun game with plenty of gameplay, especially when played with friends. Easy to learn and compatible with other AD&D boardgames. Recommend!

"Great product"

Awesome plastic figurines with thick card board pieces. Is a great game for beginners with pre-made characters and missions. Can even be adapted for own characters. Has a good story and at last a Dragon at the end. ^_^

"Good D&D Starter"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

We purchased this for our son as a D&D starter to see if he liked it. So far he has really enjoyed it, although it is a bit of a hack and slash in comparison to a normal D&D environment. Regardless it’s a great starter game, fairly easy to understand and getting into the swing of it.

"A great dungeon crawler focusing on combat"

A good game with multi or single player modes, much more fun with two or more players. You create a character and fight monsters represented by figures, these range from cave bears to the fearsome red dragon.

Fantastic game!

"Great set, perfect for a night indoors"

Wish they had more tiles and more normal beasts like wolves rather than monsters but that's just my preference.
