Final Fantasy X-2 reviews

Final Fantasy X-2 is set two years after FFX. Unlike other Final Fantasy's FFX-2 is mission based. You choose the mission that you want to do and when you have completed it you earn a reward. The battle system goes back to the classic ATB system instead of the turn based combat in FFX. This game uses dresspheres which are similar to the job systems from previous games. Story wise is a typical FF story of saving the world. The story is weaker than some other Final Fantasy's. The story is more cheerful than FFX. This game is still a ton of fun. My major problem is that there are no aeons meaning you can't summon creatures. Otherwise it is still an awsome game in the Final Fantasy series.

One of the best PS2 games written

After playing Final Fantasy X over the course of many years, I felt it was time I got X-2. It is a massive update from Final Fantasy X incorporating an updated refreshing battle system and a variety of different games and mission-based gameplay.

You have the whole of Spira at your fingertips with many mysteries to uncover as you piece together the past of the characters you play. It can be a little cheesy at times, but all-in-all it builds upon the Final Fantasy X story – which is what most of us interested in this game want.

You get what you want – so if you want to get it, get it!

This game was average in my opinion, I enjoyed playing it but it is NOTHING comaperd to X. It was just sooooo cheesey and stupid at some points. A bit of a let down in my opinion.

We finally get a Final Fantasy sequal to one of the greatest & most heart felt Final Fantasy games ever. With another great 100 plus hour game you've got some great times ahead, the gameplay is a little faster than that of ten, back to the classic but never boring level up system, a great story to see if a loved one is still alive some how (as told right at the start of the game & really the main plot so no spoiler there lol) A new version of the classic job system from earlier Final Fantasy's is a great add to a great game. So all in all well done Square Enix on your first Final Fantasy game

Other than the game is great, the service of Mighty Apes monkeys are superb! Delivered the item/s on the fly. Nothing can beat that. Thank you guys!!!

Spectacular battle system and graphics.A really great story and the characters are fun. A must for FFX fans although having no aeons is a letdown.NOT as bad as some might think. MADMUK.

I liked playing the game once I figured out about dresspheres and garmet grids. You have to have played Final Fantasy X (which I didn't OOPS!!) to really get into the renuion type story. The graphics were great. I missed summoning though. Ok having just three girls, less complicated. Great to see chocobos back, they are so cute!!!!! I still found the story confusing though, because it just didn't seem to really answer my questions, like why did the machina go wild? I am sure those that love the game would be able to ansewr that easy but I just found too many lose ends. Good side quests, though I found the calm land games boring. I l iked dresspheres, not keen on garmet grids though. It is really good to have the guide book by Piggy back, it really helps!!! I got 80 percent complete so i still have lots to do!! Story line ok, didn't really get into it, wasn't so emotionally charged like Final Fantasy 8. Still, a good game.

poor story really missed aeon summoning good battle system only 3 playable characters too short

This is the least impressive Final Fantasy.The battling in this game can be quite fun and the graphics are REALLY GOOD but the story REALLY REALLY SUCKS.

This game was obviously made in a rush in order to get money quicker.
