Recently bought this book for my niece on a friend's recommendation. It's a cool story with rhyming throughout. I enjoyed reading it almost as much as my niece did… Win-win!
It's a great book for kids to learn about a whole array of different animals like a rhea, caribou and tortoise. Llewelyn delivers a comedic tale of the working life of animals while Tulloch transforms the tale into a visionary delight. My daugher and son love to compare themselves to a different animal each night. A great read, well done!
I have bought this book for my grandchild and also a copy for a friends daughter. A very funny and delightful story which they have enjoyed very much. Also enjoyed by the adults!
Sneakily educating the kids (5 and 3) about lots of ways to travel, some unusual animals, and the value of persistence and recycling, when all they're doing is loving the animals acting like people. Their current bedtime story of choice…
Read this to my grand daughter. She loved it and I had to read it all over again. She is 4yrs of age.
I have just purchased “how does the giraffe get to work” for my 4 year old son, and I'm so glad I did, I even ended up recommending this book to friends with young children and bought more for presents!! The story is well written, witty and with excellent illustrations.
