I was a little skeptical about buying Killzone: Shadow fall after the last two games on the PS3 were horrible (in my opinion). But in the end with so little out for the PS4, I decided to take a gamble on it since after all Killzone was one of my favourite PS2 games. Guerilla have done an excellent job of Shadow fall with the campaign being one of the best I've played in the last couple of years, and the best killzone campaign ever (even though I still miss the squad based action of the original). A lot of weapons have been reworked and you can have most of the weapons from the original killzone (with the exception of some of the overpowered ones: squad cannon, chaingun with rocket launcher attachment, etc.). The AI in game work very well together and are highly realistic, but don't tend to work so well with the player in Botzone (offline battle mode). The multiplayer is similar to killzone 2 but the weapons and abilities have been balanced better, also with servers there is little to no lag. It does have a few bugs, but they are not game breaking, and are to be expected for the very first game on a new system. I'm a little disappointed it doesn't have splitscreen or system link, but they did well with what they have. I thoroughly enjoyed Shadow fall, and can't wait for the co-op mode DLC to come out. At least rent it, it's definitely a true next gen shooter.

This is my first FPS on the PS4. Nothing super innovative here but still a very solid shooter, nice visuals with plenty of action and some stealth elements included. A nice mix of exterior and interior environment's to fight through. Story line is mildly engaging but not amazing. Recommended to FPS fans.
This is fun to look at, and is quite a pretty game…however it is fairly short, and the end leaves you wondering why you invested time in it.
Excellent just that next step up from previous killzone games
The franchise continues its downhill run since 2. Generic A.I., bad pacing, weak story, terrible character models, paint by numbers puzzles. The visuals are also a mixed bag, sometimes solid, other times incredibly ugly but never brilliant. Had it not been released when it had there is no way this game would have sold so well.
I'm sure many will disagree with my opinion of this game but the fact the price at retail and second hand for this game has plummeted since its release; and that the on-line community has dwindled speaks louder than anything I could say about this game.
Not enough people play it, this game is underrated.
So far i mostly played the single player and have to say this, coming from a person who play games on a computer at max graphics, this is one of the best looking game. The ai is not the best though, like sometimes they are easy as and then others they are very hard. I played bout a hour online and it's not like battlefield or cod, i didn't really enjoy it but i will give online more time on it. In the single player there was times where i had no idea where i should go or what to do next. Just finish the game and the last 3 chapters ruin the game for me :(. Overall it's a good start to show what the PS4 can do.
Need to let people know if gamed requires internet connection in order to play!!
It was a good game to play,, I loved some of the in-game movies but found the story line was much too short – personally I preferred the story lines from the first 3 Killzones
It is a good game thankyou for guick post
A continuation of the successful franchise, the game itself is just as good as the rest.
For being one of the first PS4 games its pretty impressive, there's no disappointment with the visuals and gameplay, if you love the Killzone franchise you won't be disappointed. The only criticism I have about this is the story, it seemed like they rushed the plot to finish it on time.
This game is beautifully crafted and full of action, and the dynamics of using the OWL system lend an interesting edge to gameplay. However, it left me wanting more… And not in that good way that some brilliant games have. I wanted more precisely because I felt there was not enough, and the story ended prematurely. Some more character depth/exploration would have been appreciated. Furthermore, the one-player bots was not the best idea, as it fell in line with most other current-gen game formats that do not allow offline co-op. However, this is a game I would play again and again on my own, just to enjoy both the cinematics and the action.
The game looks amazing, the gameplay has a lot of features, but is kept simple enough to get into. And an enjoyable story, The only draw back for me is the single player story seems a little short and like it needs another chapter to it. for those into player vs player, it has the usual thrill and beauty I love in killzone series. but pvp is short lived for me. But at the moment, a ps4 must own.
This game has beautiful graphics and the campaign is a lot of fun! The multiplayer is also very fun and could be a game on its own. This is a must have game for any ps4 owner as it show cases the ps4's amazing graphics and gameplay
