This is the first time I have played these games, so I can't compare with previous versions.
However, to me whilst I enjoy these games I am left feeling that it could have been better. I can't point to a specific thing that is missing, rather I am just left with a feeling something not quite right.
Would I buy the game – absolutely. Will I continue to play it – yes. Am I left feeling a little empty – yep.
I have received it already and god damn, pairing this game with a good atmosphere such as no lights and some good headphones gives an incredible immersive experience. The characters, the story, the feel and just the subtle sounds are outstanding. Great buy if you've never played these games before redux or just want to relive the experience.
Especially Metro 2033 is remastered perfectly with amazing graphics, audio and layout. Definitely worth it if you are looking for a seriously stealthy action game.
I played these games on the 360, still am too, but it is great the Metro games were revamped and rereleased for new consoles. Plus all the DLC content is included. A must play for shooter gamers indeed.
Good fun. Has all the dlc, Remastered graphics look fairly good on the xbox one. Great buy for shooter fans. :D
