"A Great Series."
4 stars"

“Hunger Games” really is an amazing series, the first 2 books leading you through events as Katniss experiences them… But how to wrap it all up- The third and final book in the series makes a decent attempt at this. Not really anything like the first 2 books, in my opinion makes it all fall a little bit short of a perfect series. Still very much worth the read though…

"Excellent conclusion"

A great conclusion to the thrilling Hunger Games trilogy. Mockingjay ties adventure, fantasy, action and romance together in a thrilling story and I really enjoyed every moment. I cried and laughed repeatedly along with Katniss and the other characters. I highly recommend the trilogy and I believe that Mockingjay was a fitting end.

"A brilliant conclusion to the series"

The third and final book in the Hunger Games series. This book continues the story from the first two books while also adding new twists and adventures to the overall story. You will either love or hate the ending, but you will need to read it to make up your own mind!

"Perfect ending to a great trilogy"

Mockingjay was amazing. I thought it was a perfect ending to The Hunger Games trilogy. Like the first two books, Mockingjay had many heart-sinking cliffhangers at the end of each chapter which made it impossible for me to put the book down. Collins' fast-paced writing is very exciting to read.

"Great book"

I love hunger games very much and have read the books many times. I was not disappointed with this book, in fact I could not put it down, even after reading it I had to read it again. I give this book a 10/10 and would love to see more books from Suzanne Collins

"Different but still great"

I did find this book a little harder to get into in the beginning but then couldn't put it down. I really wanted to find out what happened in the end. Even though I was a tiny bit disappointed in the end I still thought it was a great read and would recommend it to everyone.

"Suzanne Collins is amazing"

I loved Hunger Games, I loved Catching Fire, and the final book in Suzanne Collins' trilogy is fantastic as well. While there has been a lot of discussion about the bleakness and horror depicted in these books, and a lot of people disliking the ending, I feel that this tied in well with the overall story and that it is a book to make people think. I would definitely recommend it. This book is less action packed than Hunger Games, but thrilling in a different way.

"Very disappointing."

I placed the first two books in my top 10 category. They were brilliant to say the least. I fell in love with the characters, especially Katniss. Sadly, she does not mature in this story, instead she declines as a character. She has no true ‘hero’ moments – gone are her independant streaks, her planning, her brain and insight. The characters we fell in love with in the first two books may have been present physically, but they developed into people I did not know, nor even like. The relationships, and philosophical reflections on values and motivations that were vital in the previous two books, are nonexistent here, and the book is fatally flawed because of it. Ultimately, everything we loved about the first two books has been hi-jacked! After reading Mockingjay, I felt so disillusioned(and bored!) I had to ask myself why I even bothered pushing through this book. A very disappointing end to what should have been an amazing trilogy.

"Good, if not great."

As a fan of the first two books, I was slightly disappointed with Mockingjay, but it was still good nonetheless. In this book you will see everything come together and the action never stops until the very end. Emotions fly high, more so than in the other two books, and there is enough suspense and surprise to keep you on the edge of your seat, just when you think you've got it figured out.

I was left feeling a little empty and unfulfilled, considering this is the last book of the Hunger Games trilogy. But in saying that, I still liked it and would recommend it to others.
