“Hunger Games” really is an amazing series, the first 2 books leading you through events as Katniss experiences them… But how to wrap it all up- The third and final book in the series makes a decent attempt at this. Not really anything like the first 2 books, in my opinion makes it all fall a little bit short of a perfect series. Still very much worth the read though…

Great book that will entertain your teen thoughout. Is quite graphic and offers somewhat complex ideas on government and poverty.
At first I found ‘Mockingjay’ to be a bit slower to read than the other 2 books, but as it went on that same ‘draw’ returned. Just wish there was more to come!! Awesome book, awesome series!!
I have just started reading this book and already can not put it down! I loved the first two books and I can't wait to finish reading this one! Such amazing novels to read!
One of my all time top ten trilogies a must read
Good easy read for teenagers
Not often do I finish a book in a day, being a pretty slow reader, but I had to read this one from beginning to end. It was a good end to the trilogy, reminded me alot of the Dark Angel TV series (was a big fan) with the two heroins, great twist, wont give too much away. Chilling short trilogy, easy to read and great to have something more real and not full of that lovey-dovey, boring ‘Twilight’ ho-humm.
What a ride. Bit of a surprise in part but a great wrap up to an awesome trilogy and leaves us “Hungery” for more.
I hope Collins has more to offer in the future – she must certainly have a loyal following from her efforts here.
The acknowledgements suggest the Hunger Games are headed for the big screen. Really hope they do and the interpretation does the trilogy justice – has the potential to be awesome.
I purchased this book for my daughter, she loved all three. She couldn't put them down. A must read for all readers young and otherwise. She is now re-reading all three awesome trilogy.
