We got this to play as a family and its just as fun as normal “monopoly”. But I have to say the money and the hotels are a bit confusing to start, but you get used to it's still fun to play:)

Bought this to play as a family, and the kids (7&8) love it! The money is still being doled out by an adult, as it's dealing in millions rather than hundreds, but the kids are fast getting the idea. Only problem with the game is there aren't enough apartments (houses) to go round. Love the pictures on the board and property cards, that show places around NZ not yet seen (or no longer able to be seen).
LOVE the New Zealand version! Great to have my son playing a kiwi one and not the old Pom one that had ZERO relevance to us.....
This is a slightly new take on monopoly. While in essence it is the same game the big difference is that volume of money (millions vs hundreds). This makes I thiit a bit confusing. The quality of the money also seems slightly inferior to previous editions
