Who would've thought that Stan Walker had the chops to pull off a lead role in a film- more than that the music was to my ear far more appealing than his solo material.
This was far better than the much more popular “Boy” i thought

Mighty ape are the best
Being a bit biased, as a Bob Marley fan, and fairly interested in the extraordinary reception he received in NZ before coming here (Aus), I was ripe for it, and it didn't disappoint. Stan & the boys deliver, as does Temauera & co, but I loved the way the script writers almost worked back from the final (great real time)historical footage of the greeting to Bob at the Whare. Great stuff.
