"The Vita: Massive Power, Beautiful Screen and Innovative Control"
4 stars"

The Playstation Vita is Sony's new handheld device, slated for release late this year in America (and hopefully here also). The Vita has an insane amount of power for a portable device, and easily has the power to output visuals approaching the home consoles. The Vita has an awesome amount of cross play with your PS3 and in WipEout 2048 you can play people in real time on the PS3.

The screen is amazing. So crisp and beautiful.

Finally the Vita has awesome controls. Two analog sticks, which is the best part for me. No longer a stupid single analog nub, we can now actually control a 3D camera and play proper action games without clunky control schemes. And the touch pads look quite cool, especially in LittleBigPlanet. Check out that game, it actually looks better than the PS3 version.

So my final thought: DO WANT!!

"The pinnacle of handheld hardcore gaming"

If you can afford it you want this, a quad core handheld with an amazing launch line up and many more great games to come, day one buy for me.

"Compared To 3DS"
5 stars"

With the only rival of the PSP Vita being the newly released Nintendo 3DS, Its obvious who the victor will be. The only advantage the 3DS has is that it is already available on the market. Im not going to tell you all the pros and cons for the PSP Vita, as another review has already stated them, but as you may already know it is powerful, much more powerful then the 3DS. Its just a waiting game now.

"Looking forward to this, kind of..."
4 stars"

I'm very much looking forward the to PS Vita, will all its potential bells and whistles and the hope that it will receive some portable first person shooters to make proper use of those dual thumbsticks (it may end up being the only handheld to be able to do FPS games well).

Unfortunately I will likely not purchase one on release, as I would like to see Sony do a proper purchase bundle (PS Vita, memory card, perhaps a game or two) much like they did in Japan.

The PS Vita looks very exciting so far!
