Another gentle little tale, strongly in Japanese idiom. A good message in caring for others and the environment, but its approach, being Japanese, will need a bit of familiarity with that idiom. The effort required will be worth while.

This product is truly amazing definetley one of the best i have seen in a long long time. Your are sure not to be dissapointed with this product. I Have heard of otherpeople aswell who have just raved about it definetley a thumbs up from me.

Yet another Hayao Miyazaki classic. Ponyo is suitable for young and young at heart! A sweet story about a little boy who finds and helps a goldfish who turns into a little girl. They both then learn about helping each other and how being responsible for others is an important thing in life. Filled with beautiful design and charming characters, Studio Ghibli has done wonders again.

Full of true-to-life characters, all the more remarkable given it's a fantasy. But then, that's Miyazaki: beauty, wonder and a story intriguing enough to keep me interested watching it over and over again with my two year old son.

This is an enchanting movie from the remarkable talents of Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle). Drifting between the real world and an imaginary one, it tells an intriguing tale of friendship between two young children in a modern day seaside village in Japan. And all drawn together with the irrepressible delight of five year old Ponyo. The English voices are very well done. The DVD extras were OK.

Another outstanding work of art from Studio Ghibli! A truly heart-warming story for the whole family. Beautifully drawn with the same kind of attention to detail that you would expect for Ghibli. Add to your collection and you wont be disappointed

A beautiful story which children of all ages (including adults) will surely love. A great investment and addition to your dvd collection.
