This is a good book but not a great book. Good photography and a nice idea. Some stories moved me enough to bring the odd tear to my eye. But I just felt the writing wasn't quite up to scratch and perhaps the stories got a little repetitive. I would recommend buying it for a light read and to help the charity.

Wonderful heart warming stories about Cats effected in the Christchurch Quakes. Nice weekend book to read with nice pictures. Any cat lover would like this!
Beautiful photography and well presented although repetitive. Great idea for a very worthy cause…
I bought 3 copies of this book: one for a friend, one for our neighbor in America who cares for our cat while we are in New Zealand, and one for our American guests who come to see us here in New Zealand. I look forward to reading the book a second time! Another friend is buying for her 8 year old son to read him one story from the book each night. I also found out about a company in Christchurch called The Dog Coat Company and have purchased items from them as a result of reading this book.
Pictures were beautiful, some stories were heartwarming and others brought tears to my eyes. Loved it.
