This war epic stands on it's own as the most harrowingly realistic representation of WW2 combat – even to this day. The scale, attention to detail, historical accuracy, characters and story make for engrossing and often disturbing viewing. A beautifully polished piece of work, it provides an engrossing and terrifying insight into what American GIs experienced during the 1944 invasion of Hitler's fortress Europe. Not just a must see, but a must own!

I really loved the movie and its realism. Just got a little irritated of how the final fight scene went.
