"Great for FPS and MMORPGs - First unit was faulty however."
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Updating my review. So. When I initially got this mouse, it was faulty out of the box. Within two months it would no longer connect over wireless or wired modes. For this reason, I cannot give it a five star, despite having a functional replacement unit. I got in contact with “Chubs (SteelSeries Customer Experience)” over email. Excellent support. We concluded that it was an issue hardware side. For that reason, I struggle to recommend this strongly. I got my replacement unit and I've had it for about two weeks with no issue.

This mouse is absurdly lightweight. Plays fantastic in FPS games such as CoD, and I feel like I've played the best that I ever have in years. The side buttons are great for MMORPG too, such as FFXIV. They're customizable too so I have some macros set up like auto clicker and app control (Spotify) in a separate profile to when I'm playing games that actually require all 12 buttons. Speaking of which, the buttons take a little getting used to, but it's not too hard to figure out where which buttons are. I will say it could be a little difficult to comfortably reach all buttons if you have small hands. It's an expenny mouse for sure, but if you need a mouse that's great for FPS games and MMORPGs both, from my research and experience, there's nothing better.

"Bad design"

I've had the mouse for ~3 months now and the left click button suddenly just stopped working. In general the side buttons and weight of the mouse are great, but at the end of the day the left click needs to keep working. I'd expected there to be an internal shield between the electronics and the mouse plate but no, it's just holes for skin & dust to fall into.

"Faulty out the box; broke within two months"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I bought this for both the lightweight advantage it provides in FPS games, as well as the great ease of access with keybindings for MMORPGs. For the most part it was great at both, however within the first few days, it would just disconnect randomly. I could look past that with a quick switch off and switch on. But today, two months after I purchased this mouse, it now will not work. It doesn't connect with the adapter over 2.4Ghz wireless. It isn't recognized as a device under bluetooth. It doesn't connect while plugged in directly to my PC. If this was a $50 mouse I would've just bought another, but this thing is $300. This just tells me that in 2022, wireless technology is trash, just like this mouse. Stick to wired mice and avoid this, because it isn't worth the price. I'm contacting the team about a replacement unit. If it works, I'll update the review.
