Description

Edwards leads the call to vanquish the inequality of women in the kingdom of God. His weapons of revelation? History, the Greek language, and his own witness of women in churches who are free. Dare to discover what happens in the body of Christ when all members function. This book brings to light the mindset that has held both women and men prisoner of misconceptions through the centuries. Reading The Christian Woman Set Free liberates the reader of any doubt regarding a woman's place in the kingdom of God. Furthermore, Edwards gives you the practical "how-to" of the way to experience this freedom in your gathering.

Author Biography:

Gene Edwards is a biblical scholar with the pen of a poet, a master storyteller who causes scriptural truth to become an adventure into revelation, and in doing so he brings you into the deepest truths of Christ. All across the world his books are read for their insight into Christ, and they leave the reader spellbound in the presence of so glorious a Lord.Gene grew up in the East Texas oil fields and entered college at the age of 15. He graduated from East Texas State University at 18 with a bachelor's degree in English history and received his M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Gene is part of the house-church movement, and has spent much of his life traveling extensively to aid Christians as they begin meeting in homes rather than in church buildings. Gene and his wife, Helen, reside in Jacksonville, Florida, and have two grown children.
